Why soy wax?

• Soy wax is plant based, it comes from crops of soybeans. In comparison, paraffin wax candles are abundant, inexpensive, frequently don’t disclose composition and are derived from petroleum (refined gasoline product). Soy receives major bonus points for not supporting the fossil fuel industry.

• Soy wax is completely biodegradable and easily cleans up when spilled.

• Soy is a renewable and abundant resource. Our soy farm supplier is located here in Canada.

• Burns clean with zero petroleum based soot.

• Lower melting point than paraffin wax, resulting in a longer burn time.

• Vegan, while other waxes likes bees wax, are not. Our soy is also not tested on animals.

We only use organic, not genetically modified soy crops from local Canadian farmers producing soy on a much smaller scale. Source is the most important question you can ask when determining soy quality and ethicacy❤.
